SOLD – Mahogany ‘Bradford’ Desk by Christopher Pratt & Sons. Circa 1905

A very good, rare & very collectable, small ‘Bradford’ type desk by Christopher Pratt, Bradford, Yorks., circa 1905.  Constructed in solid mahogany with a cedarwood interior & drawer linings.  With three large side drawers & a large cupboard with shelf to the left.  The tambor top self opening when the large frieze drawer is pulled opened to reveal a fully fitted interior complete with original gilded leather writing surface, ink-wells etc.  Exterior with fielded panels & original brassware.  Used with a lap-top or tablet computer this small desk with its abundance of storage space is perfect used as a home office in a small room with limited space.
