A rare & very collectable early 18th cent. Burr walnut desk of small size. George 1st period, constructed circa 1720. Probably provincial Irish. Seven oak lined drawers with iron locks. Burr walnut, feather banded & cross grained drawer fronts with (later) brass handles. Top with feather banding & cross grained thumb nail moulding. Below a central cupboard with shelf. All raised on early bracket feet. Restored & re-polished to a very high professional standard. A rare and enchanting small desk that will both increase in value and enhance any room.  SOLD
