A very good & heavy dark stained Solid Oak & Beech desk. Constructed England circa 1930’s to early 50’s in the manner of ‘Gillows of Lancaster’ . Number stamped and probably by ‘ Waring & Gillow’ but missing their metal tag.

Nine deep oak lined drawers with original brass handles. Center drawer with an adjustable integral writing slope with storage under. A genuine Gillows feature.

The desk top having a later replacement faux leather writing surface. The desk is polished all round & is suitable for standing in a room center if required.

Solid ,built to last almost forever. Cleaned,waxed & in offered in lovely condition for its age. Very suitable for either home or office.
