A really nice Early Victorian 5 ft working desk office desk with an interesting & unusual Irish provenance. Circa 1810/20
Constucted front & sides in figured mahogany with nine deep drawers, center drawer locking key. Intended to stand against a wall or beneath a window etc. the back is plain stained pine. Retaining its original old polished age patination and now fitted with a new gilded black hide leather replacing the worn & damaged original. Pedestal type constructed in three sections for easy moving.
Size: 153cm wide x 59cm deep x 77cm high.
