A very good medium size mahogany antique office desk, English, Victorian period circa 1850/60.

Pedestal type in three sections & raised on castors for easy moving. Nine deep solid mahogany drawers. Center drawer locking with key. Cleaned, deep waxed & retaining its original old patination. Now fitted with a new gilt tooled, dark green, hide leather writing surface to match its original one. Polished on all sides & suitable for standing in a room centre if required.

Ideal desk for a home office.
