SOLD – A Fine English Late Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Desk – Maple & Co. London

SOLD – A really exceptional late Victorian medium size drawing room desk by an outstanding English cabinet maker. Circa 1890/1900 in  the manner of  Thomas Sheraton, offered in very good used condition.

Flame Cuban mahogany with satinwood inlay.  Nine large drawers all mahogany lined with the original brass drop handles.  The center drawer edge stamped ‘Maple & Co.’     The top retaining its original  gold tooled, light brown hide leather writing surface,  Nicely worn but generally undamaged.   Raised on (replacement) castors for easy moving.

Perfect desk for a home office or for a limited space.
