A very rare pair of identical, late Victorian mahogany semi-partner office desks, constructed circa 1890/95. Both desks are 5ft 5ins wide x 31ins deep x 30ins high with identical specifications, vis: six large mahogany lined, cock-beaded drawers and a large file cupboard with original quality brass handles. The moulded edge top's with their original inset tooled tan hide leather writing surface, nicely worn but undamaged. Raised on an outset plinth base with castors and constructed in three sections for easy moving. Now fully restored & re french polished all round these desks can stand in a room center if required, or, if put 'back to back, would make a single & very large & very impressive single full 65ins x 62ins partners desk. Offered in showroom condition, these original identical Victorian office desks have always been together since new are very rare indeed. We doubt that we will ever have a similar pair again.
